Mental Wellness Consultation
Seeds of Empowerment offers a complimentary 20-minute Mental Wellness Consultation to prospective clients.
The consultation provides an opportunity to briefly discuss what you are looking for in therapy, learn more about our services, ask questions, and explore whether Seeds of Empowerment may be an appropriate fit for your needs.
A Mental Wellness Consultation is not a therapy session, diagnostic evaluation, crisis service, or guarantee of acceptance into treatment.
Scheduling or completing a consultation does not guarantee placement with a particular clinician or availability of ongoing services.
A therapist-client relationship is established only after you have been accepted for services and the appropriate intake and consent process has been completed.
Scheduling & Appointments
When scheduling a consultation, you agree to provide accurate and current contact information.
Our consultations are conducted by phone. Seeds of Empowerment will call the telephone number you provided at or around your scheduled consultation time.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation, we ask that you cancel or reschedule as soon as reasonably possible so that the appointment time may be made available to another prospective client.
Repeated missed consultations may affect our ability to offer additional consultation appointments.
Insurance & Self-Pay
Seeds of Empowerment may offer services through participating insurance plans as well as self-pay arrangements.
Information provided through our website or during a consultation regarding insurance participation, eligibility, benefits, or anticipated costs is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute a guarantee of insurance coverage or payment.
Insurance coverage is determined by your individual health plan and may be subject to eligibility requirements, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, authorization requirements, medical-necessity requirements, and other plan provisions.
You are responsible for amounts ultimately determined to be your financial responsibility under your insurance plan or applicable self-pay agreement.
Any applicable fees and financial policies for ongoing therapy services will be provided as part of the intake process before treatment begins.
Electronic Communications
If you provide your phone number or email address and consent to communication, you authorize Seeds of Empowerment Mental Health Counseling PLLC to contact you regarding your inquiry, consultation, appointments, intake process, and requested services.
Communications may occur by telephone, text message, or email.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Where applicable, you may reply HELP for assistance.
Opting out of text messages may require us to use another available method to communicate important scheduling or service-related information.
Privacy

Our website, online forms, email, text messaging, and Mental Wellness Consultation scheduling system are not emergency or crisis services and should not be used to request immediate assistance.
